Messi, as the biggest draw in MLS, required somebody to keep an eye out for him on and off the field when completing a move to the United States in 2023. Cheuko previously worked with the Argentina international at Paris Saint-Germain, and was invited to take up a similar role in Florida.

Cheuko is a mysterious figure, with little known about him. He has not spoken to the press about his relationship with Messi and prefers to focus on his professional life. He is responsible for keeping Messi safe, as well as the South American’s wife Antonela and their three children – Thiago, Mateo and Ciro.
