Roebuck left City to join Barca on a free transfer this summer, ending a nine-year association with the club. She didn't play a game during her last season in Manchester, revealing midway through the season that she had suffered a type of stroke.

Roebuck is yet to take to the field for her new club, despite being part of the travelling squad for their pre-season tour of the United States, as she has been continuing with her rehabilitation process. She has now been included in a squad for a competitive match for the first time though and will travel to England this week for the UWCL group stage meeting with Man City.
